SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD via Craigslist but thanks BARF anyway.
Here's the chance to save a couple of grand on your new ride! This 2012 Kawasaki Versys KLE650 is a great do-it-all street (or even mild dirt: you can buy dual-sport tires for it!) bike. Twisties, commuting, ADV, name it and the Versys can do it.
But you already know you want one, right? And you're looking for VALUE and a dependable ride. Here it is. I'm the second owner - the first was a grad student in San Diego who commuted with it a few years and then traded it into the dealer for a Versys 1000. He piled about 28,000 miles on it and I've put about 1000 more. It was parked outside, so paint and plastic are a little weathered - I'd give it a 6.5/10 cosmetically - but the maintenance was done right. It has almost-new tires, okay chain and runs like a champ.
The stock windscreen is really scratched and cloudy, but not cracked. The ZG screen on there now is brand new (and like $80!). I also put new throttle and clutch cables on and the bike rides really nice. Really easy around-town bike, but good on the highway and did I mention it goes over 200 miles on a tank? Well, it does.
I also have a new Progressive shock (the stocker's getting pretty boingey) and a Sargent's seat (ahhhh!) available separately. Text me now! I know it won't last at this price, but I want somebody who needs it to get it.
And of course 1% goes to BARF. I'm not a monster, you know.
