My day 1 route. A bit zig-zaggy, but I had my reasons. Despite too much 101, I still managed to include Myers Grade, Mountain View, Hwy 253, Branscomb Rd., and that delicious section of 1 from the coast to Leggett. :ride

I did 3- Cecilville- lost coast road on my solo ride with my sv a couple years ago back in August of '08. I wanted to do another trip and head further North to Scott River Road . I love traveling past those blankets of pine trees on small and squiggly backroads !!

Day 3. The locals dragged us over a bunch of little local roads on the way to 36, and this is only my best guess approximation of where they took us. :dunno That led us to the Hydesville to top up our tanks, then on to the awesomeness that is 36. :ride
After hanging with Bud, Butch, Dave, Kyle and Jessi at the Red Bluff Chevron, Steve and I headed south to a little more adventure. I told Steve, "Don't worry, no dirt." Apparently, I lied. :devil The most direct route from Paskenta to Newville was about maybe 6 or 8 miles of gravel/dirt. Oops! :blush Back on pavement, we rolled south on County Rd. 306 until we got south of Stonyford and rolled back east through the hills to join I-5 at Maxwell, and from there it was just pounding home.
