High Wind Warning issued by National Weather Service, Tues. night thru Wed.
especially in the hills throughout the Bay Area with Gusts expected to top or
exceed 50 mph. Just a Heads Up to all riders, particularly the Newbies and Returning like myself.

What he said below.

Much like a Fox News reporter, I didn't bother to check his facts.

If it is windy, the 250 will be fun...

If it isn't windy, the 250 will be fun.

The 750 is really just good at removing commercial grade gas meters, the 250 is good at removing commute time.

Thanks for sharing that useful bit of information.

Was contemplating a bit of a ride yesterday into the north hills if I had time. Good to be aware of that potential now.

( Fox news reporter - :laughing :))

50MPH wind gusts wouldn't even make the news where I grew up.

First time I took my fiancee to meet my parents she asked me if there was a lot of theft in town since everyones Christmas decorations were cabled down to the lawn. Nope, what ever isn't cabled down, the wind will take it and your plastic Santa will be two miles away by dawn.

That night the wind kicked up to about 60MPH sustained winds :p

I take it there aren't that many motorcyclists where you grew up, lest they have to be cabled down to the lawn?

The San Mateo bridge is gonna be fun today. :)

San Mateo is definitely the worst of all the bay bridges imo when it gets very windy where the water is all whitecaps and the reader board warns "motorcyclists use extreme caution," especially on the high part. It doesn't look that windy to me now though so when I head over later at midafternoon I'll be aware but not worried about it.
