Newbie to Bay Area

Hello everyone! I'm new to the bay area, moving here at the start of the year from the east coast. I've been riding for 10+ years. I've been doing track days the past few years and I'm looking for some good orgs to ride with.

I sold my street bike before moving out here, but I will most likely get a dual sport in the coming months.

My rides:
2011 GSXR1000 (sold before move)
2007 GSXR600 (track only)

Thanks for the help and I look forward to seeing you out on the roads!

Hit the track day forum for info on organizers.. there are more than a few around.

I am sure you will dig the tracks here as well.

Welcome to BARF.

I rode a dual sport out of Pleasanton for many years. The only real dirt a reasonable distance from there is at Carnegie. I rode every single blue square and green circle trail there in a couple of sessions on my XR650L. (Link of Google Earth tracks from my GPS).

There are a lot of good twisty roads nearby that are also fun on a dual sport.

I thought that Pleasanton was a great place to live for most of the time I was there, but then it got too crowded for me. Hope you like it there.

you got 3 tracks within a couple of hours: Sonoma (sears point to the ogs), thunderhill up north and Laguna down south.
