Just wanted to follow the rules regarding posting. My parents ran am MX track in Oregon (Eugene Motorcross) for a few years back in the early 70's. I've been riding since I was 6 (30 yrs now) and got my first street bike ('85 Ninja 600) off the showroom floor at 15. Been a habitual rider all my life in big cities (NYC) and country side on everything from 2 strokes (RD, GT and M1) to touring (BMW 900, K-75S) and sport (GSX-1100, 900ss, 851).
I currently own a built '92 900ss (944 big bore, ported heads, Termi exhaust and CR's), a '71 Kawi 500 triple (ported with expasion pipes and swing arm mods) and a '92 851 (pretty stock except for chip, cans and flow matched heads). Outside of the flow stuf (don't have a flow bench) I do ALL my own work, gotta love those Desmo 4 valve shim adjustments.
Been lurking here about a month and have found some good info on suppliers and spots to ride; am a little put off by the high posted death rate and some of the BS posts but I guess that's the way it goes. Thanks for the site and what all its got to offer.
