New to me Duck question

I just picked up an 07 Monster S2R and am wondering if anyone has any experience with power commanders and this particular year? I ask because there is no power commander option for 07 on their website, as they only list up to 2006 for the S2R.

Thanks in advance.

i think that is a no go, as your immobilizer thing is tied to the ecu... so you cannot mod it for custom intake or exhaust beyond what is permitted. i may be wrong on this, but i believe there is only one company from australia that make an after market performance ecu that will work with that.

oh wait... i believe ducati performance also make a set of termis with a performance ecu in a kit you can put on that... give munroe a call... they probably have that on hand

So I picked up the one year of the S2R that would cost more than the other years to mod because only Duc can do it.......Great!!!! On the flip side I am so friggen happy with the bike I don't care. Its absolutly amazing. At first I thought it was lazy, but quickly realized it is deceptive. After riding SV's for 6 years I would have to say that they are peaky compared to the S2R (I guess a twin can be peaky). The thing just keeps pulling and pulling and pulling.

Anyways thanks for chiming in with my options. I am sure I will have many more questions in the future, this is the first Duc I have owned.

others have done it on that bike with various creative mods for much less, i suggest you try the link given: http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/

where you will most likely find nice step by step instruction on how to do it. it's a ducati, be creative. as frank would say, "i did it my way"

it is not the bike, it is the change of laws and eu statndards.... 08.. 09...and on would be the same

if you really want to increase performance, get more efficient fuel mileage, and create fewer emissions, and the con, increase the noise of it, which is really a pro since us ducati riders are complete attention whores and all have myspace pages just for our ducatis and love the "look at me, i bought a very expensive impractical moto" status, then you should do it right and do the intake and exhaust with the ecu... otherwise, what's the point of adding a power commander.

i think i am going to install a dedicated cellular data device just so my duc can twitter.:rolleyes

"medea is now at 5k rpm"... "medea has front wheel now off the ground"..
