Hey Guys,

My name is Luis and i am looking forward to ride in Cali with you guys, I am moving in August to San Jose and here in Spain i am riding a 2014 GSXR 600.

I have been riding in different tracks here in Spain lately and its the best experience i have had in my entire life.

We have a riding club here called Back to track and hope to join one in Cali soon, friends and riding its the best combination

I am planning to buy a Track bike when i get there and start to visit the different tracks on august with some of you.

Where do you recommend to start looking for track bikes, i am totally over street riding after driving in California last summer.

Here i show you some pictures of us:

:newbie Luis!

I imagine some of our tracks may be a bit spooky compared to some of yours. The run off provided at GP tracks anyway is so much better than some of ours. The layouts of Laguna and Thunderhill I am sure you will dig... and if you like high speed track the big track at Willow Springs will hit the spot. ;)

Have fun here on barf. The trackday forum will provide a lot of info on getting to the track providers.

Luis,

I should add that street riding if you get out of town and into the Sierra's is awesome. I pretty much roll in the Mountains and avoid the densely traveled suburban areas.

We do 3 Rallies a year to get to those great roads and it is a blast and also a great way to meet fellow barfers.

Cheers

I went to all the Big Sur roads and they are are beautiful but really dangerous and not in the best conditions, i am really convinced of quiting rolling in the mountains.

Looking forward anyway the community!

Welcome!

The BARF classifieds are only real source for buying a track prepped bike that I know of.

You can buy street bikes through Craigslist.

Like Bud said, you can't really get away from the traffic unless you travel. We do have some beautiful roads, although a lot of them are badly paved. And you'll get your eyes opened by our tracks. To most of us, they are great. Compared to Europe, they're crap.

Yeah i agree on the road and how paved they are. Why do you say your circuits are crap compared with European?
