Hi All, new rider and BARF member here! I’ve wanted to ride a motorcycle for at least 20 years (absolutely, categorically NOT a mid-life crisis…) and having recently got my license bought my first bike (Kawasaki Z650)! Having thoroughly enjoyed my first weekend exploring the back roads in Marin I think I may be addicted already.

Looking forward to reading more of the resources on the site and joining the odd group ride in the future when I’ve got a few more miles under my wheels.

Welcome! I like those z650s. I started the kawi er-6n (naked ninja 650) so the z650 is the next gen pretty much but seems a lot better.

@motomania2007 - I completed the basic CMSP (which I understand means I know very little!) and am definitely planning more courses. In terms of the intermediate course; any advice on the amount of experience required prior to attending in order to maximize learning?
