New Pictures By Lowrider Magazine- Garage Gold

So I was pretty excited to hear my bike was considered for a lowrider magazine calendar... well it went on to be in the calendar on both the cover and the center fold (Also the month of April). The issue came out and I was notified that it will also get a feature in the February issue as well... Here are the pics and a link to the editorial... I was pretty stoked considering it is literally my daily. I never built this with show intentions, but just a head turner I can ride reliably... WOHHOOO :party

1999 Yamaha Roadstar 1600

Since they made me name it for the magazine, I present to you.... Garage Gold.

Not generally my style of bike, but I can appreciate the artistry. Who did the paint? That orange is absolutely flawless, and the pin striping is perfect.

Thanks, I laid the primer and base coat... my uncle sprayed the kandy and I laid the clear/flake. Then a buddy did the pinstriping and leafing

+1 Not what I would ride, but fantastic workmanship.:thumbup Work like this is why I got to the Impala's low rider shows a Sonic in Stockton. The work and paint is top notch.

That's great news, congratulations.

Which color is more accurate. The orange in your photos, or the gold in the photo of the magazine?

Thanks guys!

Berth, it's actually in between. LOL... It's actually like the lighter parts of the orange pictures in the sun and it looks orange in the shade, just not that dark (Kandy paint)
