New Dad Alert

I know a lot of people on here don't know me and probably don't care but my wife gave birth this afternoon. To say the least I'm juiced, this is our first. She came out all wonky and face up so she looked like a unicorn but here she is!

It's 3:30am and she was born 12 hours ago. Everyone is sleeping and I can't.

Congratulations! I bet the father gene clicked in you as soon as you saw her in the flesh. Happened to me!

Congratulations Shawn and family!!

Being a dad is seriously the coolest thing in the world. i'm loving every minute of it!

you'll hear lots of advice, and honestly most will be garbage, but i'll leave you with this one.

TAKE LOTS OF VIDEOS!

Get yourself a quality phone with good video capabilities and just record random clips. you'll sometimes watch them a month later, and you'll see how much they changed.

I've been taking my daughter to all my motorcycle related activities, and it's been awesome.

Congratulations Shawn!!! :thumbup

TAKE LOTS OF VIDEOS! Get yourself a quality camera as well as video.

Now enjoy those middle of the night feedings & diaper changes!

hint: keep a clean diaper & towel off to the side, so you'll be ready when the stream
hits you in the face. :laughing

I'm an ex-pro photographer - well, I actually still shoot for money, but whatever..

Anyways, get yourself a DSLR + 35mm prime lens.

It's the best baby combo out there.
