New BARFER VA --> SF

Hey BARF! :ride

Moved to SF last summer from Virginia. Been reading BARF for a bit and thought I'd sign up.

I've ridden different types of bikes my entire life and wanted to try an adv bike for the first time here - got a V-Strom and enjoying it.

Here to meet fellow riders for short rides and day/weekend trips.

Trying to learn how to build a bike too (garage reccos welcome). If you're building or fixin something up, I'll bring over a 6-pack if you let me watch *quietly at a distance.

Yep, it's been great so far! Coming from the world of cruisers it's been a very fun switch.

I'm a VCU grad myself. Small world!
