Uprated forks, slipper clutch, led lights and a quick shifter. Not bad, Yamaha. Not bad.

It's not my fault...
Looks like some nice upgrades. Looks like ABS too? Surprised they left that horrible rear shock. I think it looks better than the FZ-10.

Diggin the updated retro CB1100RS, a refreshed DL650, and wtf is a garbage can attached to the new GSX-R...

I didn't see anything about the forks, which is a bummer.

But, any bike I buy will likely get cartridges and a new rear shock anyway.

The 2017 model also gets an uprated 41mm fork, with adjustable compression damping in the left fork, rebound adjustment in the right. Oddly, considering feedback from owners and press, Yamaha appear to have left the rear shock – so easily overwhelmed on the current model – untouched
.

Rear shock stays the same. Forks are adjustable for compression and damping

Correction: they've added compression damping adjustability to the forks

Confused
But will they be an option for the US market? I'd guess no, since we're viewed helmetless heathens to the rest of the world.

Dang.

With all these updates, it feels like the moto industry is picking back up again.
