I need to barrow a clutch cover for 1 day for a project. In return you'll get a clear window clutch kit similar to the ones I'm offering for Shivers and Dorsoduro's. What I'd like is for someone to remove their clutch cover, so just be 6 bolts. Meet me somewhere in San Jose and hand me the cover. I will return the cover to them in less than 24 hours, sooner if I can get it first thing in the morning.

Here are just a few examples from a the Dorsoduro/Shiver bikes.

First come, first served. Meet me in San Jose. You'll have your free kit with washers and bolts of your choosing for helping in about 1 to 2 weeks.

Thank you,

Triple

Wut, bodda you?
I've planned a ride on Mines for tomorrow. Saturday may actually work. If you could text/call or pm me with how long you'd need it for it will help determine whether or not I can make it on either day.

If I can ride there and hang out for a minute then ride back, there's a higher likelihood.

Thanks and great project!

I do not want to rain on this clear clutch cover parade, but the V2 Aprilia/Rotax motors use a diaphragm mounted to the inside of the clutch cover to activate the slipper clutch function. A clear clutch cover would show a lovely view of the back of this diaphragm. Not a very interesting view to have under glass.

Ever gonna work on one for the v4? :teeth
No plans at the moment, nor to I foresee any in the future. The bike isn't popular enough.

I was. It's a wet clutch in oil but I'm not sure where the oil level would be, I'm guessing about 1/3 of the clutch would be wet?
If you look at the above photos closely, you can see the oil level window just behind the rear brake lever. The oil window is full at the 1/2 way mark, which is well below the clutch. When you run the bike the oil level drops and a little spray here and they can be seen on the window.

Thanks. I never gave it much thought, I knew it wasn't fully immersed in oil but never really thought about where the true level was.

In a perfect world I would, however AF1 won't let me even mention I have them for sale, if I do, they''ll shut my account down.

Did anything ever come of this? My Tuono is down waiting on seals for the clutch so it can live without a cover for a while…

I got my tank coated by Pete the Painter two years ago, seems to have stopped deforming. Why, what do you have?
