Need potential long term help with boarding my dogs (two chocolate labs)

Hello all. I find myself in a situation where I am looking for a new place to live, and have been unable to locate a place that will allow me to bring my two chocolate labs with me. I have been looking for some time, and have not found a place yet.

I may need assistance with a place to keep my dogs for some time.

They are 8 year old labs in good health, about 70 lbs each. They are good with people and kids, although a little on the friendly side (can be a little too hyper).

They are house trained, and are obedient to voice commands.

They are sisters who have been together always, and keep each other company when I am not home.

They currently have a 12000 sf yard they call home, and the ideal situation would be a place where they have open space, or a caretaker who will exercise them regularly.

They like to fetch and swim. They are very sweet girls, but they are high energy.

Sydney was hit by a car when she was 6 months old, and she has pins in her femur and is missing several teeth. Her patella was fractured, so her snout is crooked. She looks funny, but is a sweetheart.

Please let me know if you have any ideas or if you can help.

Sorry to hear you need temporary help with doggies. but I am sure someone will step up to the plate :)

I would if I could, but with six cats I'm guessing this is a no-no rofl

Oh man, that sucks.

Where have you been looking? It took a little while but I found a place that will take me with my dog and kats.

Funny, it's ok to rent to someone with kids, who cause a hell of a lot more damage then animals do without a "kid" deposit. :| People fucking suck.

When we were looking for a place to rent (in 2002) we had people tell us no pets at the house showing due a cat, but then call us back when they realized a little 7 pound cat is going to do way less damage than kids.
