n00b lock thread

so yah, i bought a kryptonite lock from someone on BARF (yeah yama_emma), and i was told by her, that i need a component for it, since its a cable lock without the "patented lock head system". can anyone recommend a lock for the cable and the head so i don't have to unload on anyone on the streets?!!!

Or the kryptonite equivalent? I think you just want to avoid the old ring-type keyhole, which is apparently vulnerable to being sabotaged w/ a ballpoint pen barrel. Never tried it myself.
