Hey all - check it out - this was in my Google+ inbox as a year-end seasons greeting message - an automatically made video w/music of my stored photos (all moto natch!)...mostly of the Sheetiron and Reno200 with lots of barfers in the many pics...and my beloved vstrom (RIP).

Enjoy - Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Seasons Greetings to all - looking forward to a dirty-riding filled 2014 on my new bike :ride :ride :thumbup :twofinger

Thanks all...yeah I have no idea why Google made me the video (and not everyone else!) but it is pretty :cool...better than I could ever make :laughing

The new bike is a Husky te610. My main issue is I haven't been able to get enough time to ride it of late...:mad But with the holidays over and some of my job crunch issues easing I am hoping for more riding real soon :thumbup

Did take it out yesterday for a few hrs of twisties up in the SC mtns...what a blast!!!...I can really see how SM bikes can get one into trouble :twofinger. Love the throttle response and lightness - wowza - I really can't wait to get her in the dirt, tho as I am doing on the street, I am taking it easy as I get to know the bike...definitely see the value of a 2nd set of wheels with either street or dual-sport tires on it, as I hate to be wearing up the miles on these knobbies on the street :|

Did have a fuel tank vent issue - was starving for fuel cutting out after ~20mins of riding and as soon as I loosened the cap, whoosh and then BRRRAPPP :teeth. As I had removed the tank to run some accessory wiring, I am gonna check the vent line asap - I also may have overfilled it w/gas and covered up the vent line, at least initially.

The other challenge is getting my leg over it when I have the tail bag on w/gear in it - man this is a tall bike (I'm 6 foot) :) Did the little scooter push w/one foot on and then swing over...worked good...would never have tried that with my 550lb vstrom :teeth

Ditto Gwynne! Maybe the Eastern Sierras where you and SFMCJohn did those awesome ride reports!! Loved the Saline Valley ride report btw :thumbup still wondering about the guy in the sportsmobile....

Cool Tim.
Too bad you didn't get a pic of that BEAR!! from the SI.
haha...great memory Aaaron :thumbup...yeah that woulda been pretty awesome to have captured him charging by me...tho it's still pretty clear in my mind, along with the momentary sense of fear :teeth

Hey Paul - I wish...saw your earlier post on this and tried to finagle with the wife but no such luck :(...the list of honey-dos has grown too large AND I gotta make some headway tomorrow...and there's 49er playoff football this weekend and next!

FYI - congrats on Michigan State winning the rose bowl :thumbup:thumbup...the was some game!

Tim you have supermoto wheels with the Husky ?:teeth If you ever ride around in your area on a weekend let me know my son and I would love to join you for a tour of the south peninsula area. Im looking forward to another Stonyford trip with Cow Mountain or Penny Pines tied in sometime after we get some more rain. :thumbup

Hey Sid :thumbup
No SM wheels yet, so I am riding the dirt setup and knobbies :( on the street while I search for some SM wheels...bike still is too much fun on the twisties as is...really worried about how much trouble I may get into with the SM wheels :twofinger

Would love to take you & son out for a ride down here - let's make it happen :thumbup And check out the Mar 29 Stonyford II Barf trip that Butch has posted up - I'm planning on going and the weather should be okay - can't be any worse then the Dec trip :twofinger
