My Yamaha Roadstar Bagger Build

Hey guys, just thought I'd share my Yamaha Roadstar Bagger project on here... Im proud of her. This is my first "build" if you can call it that.

1999 Yamaha Roadstar 1600 (FULL GARAGE BUILD)

MODIFICATIONS:
Patrick Racing Big Bore Kit
Suicide Shifter
Mikuni Speedstar HSR Flatside 42mm Carb
BUB Pipes (sometimes wears the freedom true duals)
21" Ridewright Diamond Cut Spokes
House of Kolor Pagan Gold Kandy Paint
Variegated Gold Leafing and Pinstriping
Corbin Hollywood Solo Seat and Pillion re-upholstered Caiman
HID lights
Custom Dynamics Mega Plasma Rods (Run/Turn/Brake)
Dchopper Hard Bag Brackets
Street Glide Hard Bags
Bluetooth Audio Setup
700 watt amp w/ (2) 8" Soundstream Horn Speakers and (2) DB Drive 6.5" speakers
Alarm with Motion Sensors, Remote Start, Remote Kill, Impact Alert, 2 way paging


Stripper her down:

Had to do some welding on a broken rear fender:

Sanded, then wet sanded everything:

Cut Bags and Primered everything:

Mixed and sprayed 4 coats of House of Kolor Solar Gold Base Coat:

Sprayed the House of Kolor Pagan Gold:

Did 1 coat of clear mixed with micro gold flake and then 3 more coats of just clear:

Color Sanded everything to prepare for pinstriping and leafing:

Leafing and pinstriping done:

Back to Clear Coating after the graphics:

ALL COMPLETE: Minus installing the speakers in the bags:

Thanks for the kind words fellas!! I am pretty happy with the outcome...

catch2otwo- No a buddy of mine did the leafing and pinstripe. I sprayed the primer and base coat, and my uncle sprayed the Kandy... I don't think i'm good enough to spray kandy yet.. haha

Cereal KLR- Yes. I didn't want my petcock to feel neglected because I pay more attention to my petdog... so I painted it.
