my screen has pink eye...? MAC OSX ppl HALP PLZ!!!

well, no not really. the borders of my screen on the desktop look like its slightly pink and or opaque. right now i have the display running on

colors: thousands
resolution: 1440 x 900

and it looks alright, but if i bump it up too,

colors: millions
resolution: " "

it looks way worse than how my screen looks now...pretty much nothing is visible and it looks like my desktop has cataracts...any help is appreciated...:dunno

Don't know much about Macs, but if you have a desktop, it may be as simple as a cable problem. Make sure the video cable is plugged in to both ends real tight.

I had that happen to a cpu at work, turned it around and fiddled with the VGA cable and it works fine now.

If you have a Mini or MacPro try that on both ends, the one to your computer and the other to your monitor.

If you have an iMac, pray you still have the warranty that came with it or you purchased the extended warranty and see what they have to say about it.
