how much does a xr50 weigh? can i pick it up myself and take it up a flight of stairs? cuz i got no where to put it outside (apt). my other mini is hella heavy and a bitch to get up and down, im sore the next day, no joke.

approx. 100 lbs. so it's quite the bundle to carry. let the pipe and can cool down. you could gas assist it up the stairs though, that actually works

apt? holy hell the LL (or other tenants?) not going to like though even if you carry it up. check your lease about "storing" flammables. hate to see something fun turn into something else entirely.

Thanks for the weight info Max. It is likely that they would not like any of my bikes or bike parts in here, but alas, I have have limited options. I actually built my ninja, from the frame off and back up in my other apt, but that was downstairs. They were cool there, the handy man had no complaints about the chassis in my kitchen or the engine on a crate in the family room.:nerd

hee hee, back from a successful pic posting fiddy strafing mission on the dirty forum :toothless

mounted up some fast50s pegs, their longer shifter w/folding peg (oh yeah!) and reloc'd the bars forward a la DrZ's TCG mod. sweet.

better view of the pegs. there is a brake pedal extension piece that bolts on from another mfr. I forget but will post that later when it gets here.

nearly looped it getting up here. then things really went bad as people started yelling at me and gonna' call the cops stupid me shoulda' left the spark arrestor on to be quiet now my cover is blown. don't know if I can ever go there now. dammit.

parting shot. did a couple more circles dirt track style after this (see earlier tracks) then got out of dodge before five oh shows up to haul me away. sorry guys, don't think we can ride there, the peeps are very protective and I must keep peace with them. but no lack of other places to go I got some more ideas hee hee!
