That blue looks great! I have a 2011 white 800 XC. They're such great bikes! It just got done taking me across the country: http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=436235
Very nice. I opted for the non-XC. I do lots of dual sporting on my more capable DRZ, didn't want to deal with a tubed tire since this is my mostly road bike. Hell, I did the Dalton Highway on the VFR, heh.
Yea, had the reverse situation - a Speed Triple for a more capable street bike, so the regular 800 would have been kinda redundant. Anyway, I've had a great time on mine. Just a super well-sorted bike. You got some nice extra farkles too. How is the tall windscreen? The stock was so bad that I threw down for a madstad.
^^^ correct, the Tiger 800's don't really photograph well, much better looking in person, in any color.....
Well, I was actually not SEEING the images when I was on my phone. I personally like the way they look in photos, but I would agree they look better in person.
You're not old until you ride a BMW twin. :x
one thing I noticed is that more people prefer the cast wheels over the spoke ones.....
