My Amazing Safari to Botswana

Always one was watching us. Always.
Anyways, we had time restrictions so we bailed. We had to check in and get searched at the wildlife office. Apparently they had some reports of people stealing tusks from dead elephants. We then were one our way to town, the Chobe River, Zambia and Victoria Falls, then home.
But first, I saw this:
I was sitting in the back and was the only one that saw her as we flew by at about 30 mph.
"Geeee, Stop" I yelled.
"Do not yell" replied Gee (at least as loud as my initial outburst).
We watched this leopard for a few minutes, and she just sat there watching us and looking for something interesting to eat.
During the whole trip, Gee had been teaching me tracks for all of the animals. I got fairly good, but kept confusing the leopard, lion, and hyena. He kept making fun of me and patienly showing me the difference. Then he'd see a track on my side of the truck and ask "Mike, what is that?"
"A lion, Gee" I'd reply and he'd get all excited. Then he'd stop and look and tell me it was a hyena and laugh at me. Well here we are watching a leopard about twenty feet away and nobody but me saw it.
"Mike. you are a genius. How did you see that leopard?" asked Gee.
"I thought it was a lion." I replied.
After a few minutes, she gave us a hard stare, jumped off her log and disappeared into the bushes.
And we hit the road.

So we left Savuti, said goodbye to our crew and hauled ass to Kesane. The ride was long, bumpy, and hot. It hurt. But it was spectacular. This is a picture of our crew. Our guide is the one that looks like he wants to kill everybody. Apparentyl,he had just gotten stung by a scorpion on his inner thigh. He wasn't yet sure if it was the painful one or the deadly one. He played it off well and told me the next day.
