had my long, awaited, booked-forever, first day of my msf course. it was pretty cool and i learned some new stuff and met some people... the instructor rides sportbikes (zx9) which was cool. i'm just glad i had it this morning instead of during the superbowl:D . all in all it was actually fun, riding 125's and 250's. got one more class to go....

Good job in taking the smart route in learning. Just one more riding day, then your DMV written test. Oh, if you haven't renewed your CAR drivers license in over a year, then you will have to take half of that test in addition to your motorcycle test, so study up. As soon as you get your license, come out with us on one of our outtings!!!! Good Luck

Hey - that's awesome, Blaze! Good for you. I went the completely impatient route and just rode the DMV circle for my license (failed once, too). There are times I wish I had taken it just so I can identify w/ all the things people talk about. :(

Someday I'll take it - I promise - but first I want to go to California Superbike School and also do AFM training at Sears Point. :D

Yeah, the MSF coarse is a must for everyone, (ahem port, kalamari, bent) it really shows you some life saving techniques. Too bad they don't teach you how not to loop wheelies.

Maybe you should just learn some throttle control :twofinger I better take the test or something soon though, my permit expires on the 15th. Woohoo almost been riding 1 year.
