Is it just me or did Michelin nail the tires? Also- the Honda looks really stable, not so much MM taming a stallion.

No, they are still almost a second off of the qualifying pace of last year. Given, the weather was a lot cooler and more optimized for going fast, I think that everyone is going at 90% right now because they all know that this is going to be a hellish two weeks of racing and a fractured ankle because of a stupid lowside will compound that misery. Rossi and a handful of other didnt even go out until almost halfway through fp1.

Was Jerez resurfaced since the last GP race?

Before last year's race.

Almost a second? I think you're not looking at the right times or something. FP1 times are faster than they were last year for FP1 and FP2. You had 9 riders within one second of pole from last year just in FP1, not including Quartararo who was grounded for 20 minutes, and two within a half second. Nobody is 90% except Zarco.

At times, MM93 looked as stable as the Yamaha on both HRC chassis, even in the heat. Michelin must've gotten something right. Either that or Honda struck gold, which doesn't bode well for the MM93 haters- er- "true fans who want to see good racing."

Excited to see Binder up in the top of the charts! I'd love to see a competitive KTM team.

Even though I'm a huge Rossi fanboi, it's starting to become noticeable that he just can't get to grips with the Yamaha anymore. Unable to adapt ? Age ? Who knows ?

I told a friend the other day I felt like Vale would have his nose in the top 10 all year, but may not even get a podium this year.

We will see.

The Doctor ain't dead yet.. he might wake up with just one little adjustment. :dunno
