with the times this close... this is going to be a great race. I predict the Sete/Rossi battle will get crazy too! MotoGP this year is looking like the best MotoGP year yet! I watched the qualifying runs and EVERYONE is pushing very hard, all I know is I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight.

just wanted to add, that there were several crashes during qualifying including Tamada who went down in the very beginning (which explains his position) and seems to have hurt his wrist (not sure how badly), Hopkins also had a little off as did Nicky Hayden (who has not looked comfortable since his crash in Jerez). Sete also crashed (high-side, though I can't remember if it was during practice or qualifying) so as i said, everyone is really pushing hard...

My prediction is that Barros will not win, he will either crash or use up his rubber early trying to get away from everyone (speaking from past Barros experience). It's going to be a Sete/Rossi battle all the way to the end with Biaggi waiting in forth and ready to grab the top stop if things get out of hand and the two boys take themselves out (which would really add fuel to the Sete/Rossi fire). Colin may pull a surprise out too so I wouldn't rull him out (maybe a Biaggi/Edwards/Checa fight during the race? Though Checa has a hard time being consistent too so I wouldn't bet on him). Then again I could be completely wrong but that's racing and it wouldn't be fun if you knew what will happen.

This is shaping up to be a fantastic race!

Barros will always be a wildcard, he could very well win it by a margin if Rossi and Gibernau slow each other down.

Marco Melandri could also have a break-out race.

I'm predicting that Biaggi and Edwards have an interesting duel.

Should be good <rubbing hands together>!
