Steee-riiike!
ha!

well, they just named a corner after 93 and put up a kinda cool/kinda ugly leaning obelisk, so I'm guessing MM runs away with this one.

Turn 10 at Aragon named after Marc Marquez. Could this have implications reaching far in the future?

haha i guess this is the race thread now? or should i still post one?

it is true, the marquez dominance has taken the wind out of my sails for the rest of the season. I wish it was like last year when dovi still had a fighting chance at this point in the season, but barring any catastrophes, marquez has this season sewn up and it bums me out

I heard Aragon will have an area beyond the paddock that will cater to families, much like MotoAmerica at Sonoma. The main attraction will be the action packed game the Fenati lever pull.

An ant.. why? no one associates ants with speed, etc. He's the most talented rider in the world and his branding sucks, imo.

Also, he gonna win this weekend and that will be that for the ship.

When Marc Márquez started to race in the CEV he weighed so little that his bike had to be weighted with 21 kg to reach the required minimum weight. A problem that was repeated in his first year of the world championship, this time with 16 kg of lead spread over his 125 cc. That meant that little Marc had to control a bike that weighed more than double him, the reason why his team began to compare him to an ant, an animal that is so small but at the same time so strong that it can lift 100 times its weight.

In addition to its strength, Marc also shared a great capacity for sacrifice, perseverance and team work with this insect. Due to all these similarities, in 2012 he decided to pick the ant as his mascot. Since then, the ant’s image on his helmet reminds him that hard work is the only way to win every time he goes out on the track.
