I have to give the nod to Rossi in the first race, but I have high expectations for Marquez this season. Rossi's been riding the prototypes for years; Marquez is a rookie. He's showed that he's a quick learner and already a lot of speed, but there's no way he beats Rossi in the first race.

Damn, that'd be something if he DID beat Rossi. Finish higher than the GOAT in your first race ever at the top level. Wow.

It'll be a very interesting race. So many storylines:
-Rossi back on a good bike
-Marquez in the top class with lofty expectations being heaped on him
-CRTs making progress, but can they hang with the prototypes yet? (probably not)
-Spies on a satellite Ducati, will he be at all relevant? Will he get passed by a CRT or two or more?
-Can Pedrosa finally challenge for the title?
-Could Lorenzo make it 3 'ships in 4 seasons?

Damn, it's gonna be fun!!

Oh, and Haga doesn't deserve shit!

Normally I just download the races in the morning, but with this being night races there and morning starts here, I'd kind of like to watch them live. PM me if you're willing to help. this is how i see the race panning out:


pedo gets the wholeshot and pulls away for the first 10 laps, but he wont be able to keep up that pace. jorge reels him in with his metronome-like consistency and eventually either pushes him until pedo's tires fall off, or jorge flat out passes him and never gives the top spot back up. either way, i have jorge as the favorite for qatar

the battle for 3rd will be more interesting. i have a feeling that if marquez and rossi get into a dogfight, neither is scared to punch below the belt. if this happens, the days of twitter pleasantries between the two riders will be over.

and if anyone crashes out up front, bradl/cal crotchflow will be there to poach the spot.

I a bit different. I see dani dominating. I see Bradl battling with Jorge and eventually taking P2. Marc and Val duke it out behind with the rookie edging the doctor.

Bold prediction with Bradl for sure. Just a feeling I guess. :teeth
