Isn't this unusual, for the MotoGP circus to arrive at a track where only five guys have previously tested? (Lorenzo, Rossi, Pedrosa, Marquez, Bradl).

Still, these guys are the best in the world, they can learn a track and be up to speed in only 10 laps.

Dani's gonna be off the podium. Rossi is hungry for his first win on 2 years, but he won't get it this week. It'll drive him to a podium though. JLo is not going to be off the podium. He's actually my bet to win it all this year, and since he's already ridden the track he's in good shape. That leaves Marquez, who I think might just get his first win this week. He was fast in testing, and he's got those first race jitters out (which he didn't even really show in the actual first race). So that leaves Dani, who is now the odd man out. With the return of Rossi, the emergence of Marquez, and the continuation of JLo being JLo, Dani's going to have to really fight to be on the podium this year, and I think he'll be off it more often than on it this season.

Both Rookies Cup races in Austin can be seen live on www.redbull.tv and on TV stations around the world. Race 1 is at 16.30 local time (23.30 CET) on Saturday April 20th and Race 2 is on Sunday at 15.30 local time (22.30 CET), the show starts 10 minutes before the race.
