Some firsts and lasts this weekend.

First King of the Baggers race with star-studded line-up including Ben Bostrom, Josh Herrin and Tyler O'Hara. :thumbup

Last MotoAmerica Superbike race for Cameron Beaubier as he heads overseas next year to race Moto2. :thumbup

Great news about Max Toth. Excited to see him race the Junior Cup.

Superbike Cup showdown could be interesting. Crushing irony that MA slapped Celtic/HSBK with that weight penalty at Road America to avoid anyone dominating the Stock 1000 and Superbike Cup.

Max Toth 8th in his first Junior Cup session.

Edit. Max Toth sets fast time in the first Junior Cup qualifying session.

Insane! Absolutely insane lap times, faster than most A group track riders.

I want to know who makes the brakes that stop those things. Wow.

Seeing them side by side. Bag to Bag should be awesome.

And yeah. 1:36 was my best time on my 998 when I stopped doing TrackDays 15 years ago. 998 vs Bagger.

Fuck me :facepalm.

I watched some of the practices today. Would rather have been spectating at the track.

Cam on pole by 1.4 seconds! JD Beach not missing a beat is at the sharp end of the Supersport grid. The Baggers were fun to watch, especially O'Hara and Hayden Gilliam.

So neat to see JD Beach ride so well. And such a drag that someone with that much talent doesn't have a ride.

George Myshlyaev, a local boy from Santa Cruz and a friend and cool dude, is just kicking ass in Stock 1000. So awesome. Second in P3!

Bummed to see JD crash. That was rough fall. Hope he's OK. Corey Ventura had a good chance at 2nd if that backmarker hadn't got in the way.

SuperBikes up next.

That bagger race was a lot of fun. Those few laps with Gilliam and O'Hara mixing it up were great. The stand wheelies on the cool down lap were a nice bonus.

Dang, Superbike teams switching tires on the grid after an extra wet/foggy morning practice session, lots of stress for riders and crew!

Could be a great opportunity to shine for a bunch of riders who want to show what they can do and have nothing to lose!
