What's this all about?
From the OP article:
Even though all but one of the current MotoAmerica #1 plate holders came through the AFM, the AMA does not recognize that club or any other club on the west coast, (minus WERA West) as being AMA sanctioned. That's a story for another time, though.

Wow, they also are going to have a vintage cup race series for bikes before 1986.

I guess with no WSBK coming along they are trying to collect various crowds?

Not as fast as I look.
Fat girls need love, too? This is all too motorbike p.c. for me.

A friend of mine insisted I ride this H.D. that he bought because I got him riding, again. His wife and myself called it his Tella-Tubby. I scraped floorboards and pipes at very moderate speeds. That bike in the corkscrew would be interesting, to say the least. :laughing RIP Dennis.

Are they going to use a vacuum truck to clean the track of small shattered parts, and a front loader to pick up the heavy bits?

Cleanup in corkscrew?

2wheels good 4wheels bad
I see this getting huge and then everyone complaining about all of the ruts they dig into racing lines by dragging hard parts everywhere. Fun times ahead

More reason to go back to Daytona.

Baggers on the high banks.

I remember watching the Boxer Cup, with the guys almost banging cylinder heads on the high banks. They looked...mostly stable.

I want to see what the rules are is what bikes are allowed because I've seen some guys on some big old adventure tours like R1200GS's and multistradas and the Triumphs better absolutely blisteringly fast on the road and since they have saddlebags technically they are "baggers"...

:)

It sounds like a V-twin class. I know just the V-twin, and yes it has factory bags. Bet it is not included.

But they need a passenger class, that would be fun to watch.
