Moto Insurance Increase

I'm up for annual renewal on my moto insurance with Progressive. They shocked me with a 33% increase overall on my coverage. :wtf

Same bike, same coverage, same residence, no accidents or tickets, lots of experience and recent MSF class. I called Progressive and they have increased rates for motos in Calif across the board. Flo, their ad and tv personality is very cute, but I'm ready to say goobye. :teeth

Any other riders seeing big increases? Happy with another insurer?

Progressive is pricing themselves out of the business.

I had a similar experience with Progressive after 17 years. Switched to GEICO on all vehicles and saved. Just had a comp. claim on bike and service was good.

Try Allied.

Cut my wife's insurance bill by almost half for better coverage.

Had Progressive, now have the talking lizard.

Definitely try Geico...they dropped my premium by 40% this year (my third year with them).

+3 on Geico, lowest cost and good customer service. Also I added my XR650L to my policy with my Dl650 and they added $1 to the whole premium with their multi vehicle discount.

It is normal for insurance companies to take increases like this if they had a lot of losses last year.
