This handsome dude was pulled from the Martinez shelter by Hearts For Paws and he has been in my foster care for the past few weeks and he is now ready for adoption!!!

Marvellous Mowgli the Meowing Machine is ready to be adopted!!!!! His T4 levels are in the completely normal range (measured 1.5 on a normal scale of 0.8 - 4.7)Thirteen years young, chatty little chappy :) Still needs to gain some weight but that is going to take time, it won't happen overnight. He will come with everything he needs (carrier, blanket, bed, litter box, scoop, bag of litter, bowls and food) AND his medications will be provided free of charge through the end of the year. (need to be applied twice daily to his ears). Would probably be best as an only cat. I think he would do well in most any household, although I am thinking living with an older dude might suit him down to the ground.

Do you know anyone looking for an older kitty, without the kitten shenanigans? Please spread the word. It was wonderful of Dani to help me rescue him, now let's use the power of BARF to find him a nice new spot :)

Mowgli is still looking for a forever home. He really is a wonderful cat, and, he is LEASH trained!!!

John and I put a harness and leash on him to see how he would react, and it appears that he is used to it. He goes trotting down the street like a champ. Of course in typical cat fashion he sits down and rolls around when he has had enough and he has to be carried home :rofl

Here he is on his maiden voyage in the back garden

Mr. Bad Example
I love 'em all, but especially older cats. Our Bob was a master communicator, especially when he hit around 10 (and he stayed with us until he was 18). He raised our current boys from kittenhood to be fine cats; they both have a lot of his habits and mannerisms.

Wish I could take Mowgli, but we're currently owned by two.
