Mars Rover Curiosity tread pattern

I remember the barfer who was working on the Mars rover talking about them wanting to put the company name JPL on the wheels but were turned down and said they designed the track pattern to read the company name in morse code. Well looks like the jigs up. A recent MSNBC article outs the JPL morse code track pattern :laughing

Here's a hint: JPL == .--- .--. .-..

It's more obvious when Curiosity is actually moving in a straight line rather than a maneuvering test like that.
