Hiding in plain sight. The biggest accusers are often the worst offender's, by accusing others they often avoid suspicion.

Also:
A video by the AFP news agency shows him grimacing as each strike is delivered onto his back by a masked officer on a stage, in front of a handful of onlookers -- some of whom filmed on their cell phones. The woman with whom he was caught also received a series of lashes.
I see they're still punishing the women more harshly for the same offense. Probably something he was involved with as well in inflicting.

That's not really fair to assume, IMO "a series" is likely significantly less than 28 lashings, the number he got.

Either way it makes me wonder...

Meh weak swings are weak! As someone that fights with rattan sticks that guys form is horrible. I know it’s done to tradition but I think anyone here could take those hits.

The guy doing the caning is rather entertainingly dressed, right after Halloween and watching Watchmen!

Caining for MC thieves and shitting on city streets might be the solution we've been looking for.

Isn't that usually the way?

Yup.

Completely agree. It's always those that rail against something are those that are doing it.

Robert, it's so good to see you posting, dude! Hope you're killing it in Austin is it? The one thing I miss most are posts of your art music, paint, tats, etc.

Back on topic. In this case, yeah. The generalization holds true, but to echo past debate tactics here... anecdotal, where's the data?

I think I became sensitive this argument back in the 80's while working retail. We were experiencing all kinds of shrinkage. Figured out who was liberating the inventory and reported it to corporate. When I felt like they weren't listening I pressed the issue and was met with "Sometimes those that rail against something are those that are doing it."

I was all :wow :wtf are you fucking kidding me? No problem. You don't care, I don't care.

I know... apples and oranges, but I've hated that lazy generalization ever since. :twofinger :laughing

You guys are talking like he didn't plan it this way. You know what it costs to get strapped down and caned by a professional South of Market?

the reason the swings suck is because it's probably illegal to look like a broken windmill in public too, so this is the only way to do it without also being tickled with a stick caned
