Hey all, just wanted to give you a quick heads up about a super cool event happening this weekend.

If you're not familiar, Maker Faire calls itself "The Greatest Show & Tell on Earth" and that's not a bad description of itself. It's a showcase of everything and everything that people make in their own garages, workshops, and everything else in between - traditional wood and metalworking, 3d printing, robotics, arduino, CNC Mills, laser cutters, art cars, giant art installations that you can usually only see at places like Burning man - it's all there. It's hands down one of the coolest events I've ever been to, and a huge reason that I wanted to come work for this company.
Some of the things I'm excited to see:
- Megabots: the 20' tall mech being built here inthe bay area that challenged a Japanese robotics company to the world's first pan-pacific robot brawl
- Life Sized Mousetrap
- Tesla Coil Music Concert
- Adam Savage speaking at Noon on Sunday
- Many, many incredible makers that I've met on the internet over the past year.
