Make Youtube way better by disabling all the crap (Chrome only)

I just found this. It's a Chome extension that allows you to disable anything in Youtube. This is one of the best addons I've ever used and makes Youtube way more enjoyable.

I installed it 20 mins ago so the first thing I thought of was posting it here after using it for a bit.

milk crate goes where?
OooooOOoooo! Handy!

One of the things that bugs me the most, is when I'm watching a video that's in a sequence of videos, as soon as it is over a pop-up bubble floats up saying IF YOU LIKED THIS, SUBSCRIBE! and it's sitting directly fucking on top of the TITLE of the damn video, covering it up so I don't know what part I'm on or which one to click on next, till the stupid bubble goes away. Drives me nuts!

Doesn't Google own YouTube? Funny they would allow something that bypasses a revenue stream.

Yup google owns them.

You can also not see any ads, annotations, or any other extra crap when you watch YouTube on a mobile device. Unless the poster disabled mobile viewing.

It's a 3rd party addon, so Google doesn't endorse it.

Well of course I know this. However, Google can control what 3rd party add-on's will work in the browser they created.

Perhaps they just haven't got around to it yet or they have chosen not to pick and choose what add-on's work and which don't. It is just curious to me why an advertising company (come on, Google is) would allow their ads to be blocked if they have control over it.

Other Video Sites
Video downloads are available for Vimeo, Dailymotion, Metacafe, g4TV, and others.

Most display options are available for Vimeo, Dailymotion, Metacafe, g4TV, FEARnet, Funny or Die, and others.

The "Hide everything and matte the background" and aspect ratio options are available for Vimeo, Dailymotion, Metacafe, g4TV, FEARnet, Funny or Die, and others from the popup menu.

Some video ads are removed from Metacafe.

Auto-play is disabled for some Dailymotion videos.

hrm. so is that just poorly worded?

it means "all data on other video sites supported by add-on"?

or does it mean what i took it as, all data on every website, ever?
