Make sure you have the correct AMA patches...

If you're running in AMA this coming season, you absolutely have to have the correct patches on your suit for your class!!! This year is a bit different, as each class has its own sponsor.

For most AFM racers, they'll be running AMA SuperSport, which requires the usual 4" X 1" AMA Pro Racing Patch, the 4.875" X .875" Dunlop shoulder patches, the 10" X 1" Dunlop lower back patch, the 4.5" X 1.75" Sunoco patch, and the 3.5" X 1.5" Motorcycle Superstore patch (this is the one most will forget!).

For a patch packet, please contact ccotton@amaproracing.com. Give your contact information, your name, your AMA racer number, and which class you plan on racing in. Either provide them with payment information or include your phone # for them to call you to get credit card payment.

You have to pay for these patches or just pay for shipping? hmmm Since the sponsors provide these patches to the AMA I wouldn't think so...

either way... I would recommend you replace ALL of your patches every year. This will help you look more professional and cleaner! If you show up on the podium looking junky... guess what your sponsor thinks of you

For your AMA spec. patches, you only have to pay for shipping, which is pretty cool of them... :thumbup

When you sign up for your race license they ask you how many patches and stickers you need and they send them to you with your license. Just make sure to get them on your suit and bike. I don't remember paying for shipping on them last year... but maybe if you need to order more after the first package is shipped.
