KHAAAAAN!
Mahindra: Can I copy your homework?

Jeep: Sure, but change it up a bit so it doesn't look obvious that you copied.

Mahindra: Ok.

Representing a significant step up from the previous Thar, the new Mahindra SUV comes with either a 2.0-liter "mStallion TGDi" gasoline engine or a 2.2-liter "mHawk" diesel unit. Customers can also choose between a six-speed torque converter automatic or a six-speed manual mated to a lever-operated, shift-on-the-fly 4x4 transfer case. When it comes to body styles, the Thar can be ordered with a hard top, a "first-in-class" convertible top or an optional soft top, as well as in a four or two+four seating configuration.

The body-on-frame ride quality is refined by an independent front suspension and a multi-link setup at the rear. Meanwhile, the off-road capabilities are still guaranteed by having a mechanically locking differential on the rear axle, a crawl ratio in low, impressive approach (41.8 degrees), departure (36.8 degrees) and rampover (27 degrees) angles, a ground clearance of 8.89 inches and a water wading depth of 25.59 inches. To compare, the Wrangler JL's fording depth measures 30 inches in Rubicon form.

My neighbor has the non-street legal version of that for cruising around the backroads here..... I didn't know they made a street-legal version.

I worked in India for Google. Their educational system breeds this. You could express the exact same thought in an essay, but the person with more memorization from the material will get a better grade. Hard to foster creativity in that environment. My job was to write out the rules for data creation. It was way more work then expected, having to literally map out every possible iteration of the product...

Some years ago I went to a remote village in the Manaslu region of Nepal, 8 hours+ of dirt "roads" with massive rocks everywhere. Think eastern sierra access roads, only way worse.

Dude shows up with a sparkling new Mahindra SUV, the plastic bumpers and trim were falling off that thing by the end of it.

To be fair, the new Explorer I looked at had the trim falling off in the parking lot :rofl

Mahindra was licensed by Jeep in WW2 to build them for the war effort. Since then they've made many changes and improvements. Like diesel motors. It's not their fault that Jeep wants to sell theirs at ridiculous prices
