M4M Mirror Slapper on 24

The guy on the blue bagged HD wearing a bright orange t-shirt... Honking and reving while splitting (even when you had plenty of room), then randomly flailing your arms at cars who were seemingly doing absolutely nothing wrong. Then when you felt they weren't moving far enough over so you started smacking their mirrors flipping them forward (thank your for not breaking them). Hitting the tow mirror on the truck towing the auto hauler who couldn't have moved any further over was nice touch. Then you cut all the way from the left lane across traffic to exit, only to get back on the on ramp and cross back over to end up right in front of me again.

I don't think I've been more pissed off riding a motorcycle. Not only was this guy an a@#hole, but he was pissing off everyone he went by leaving me to deal with it as if I were with the guy. Not sure what I could have done other than pulled off to leave some space, but I'd still be wading through the mess he left behind. Fortunately I was able to hop off at Orinda and take Bear Creek without adding much time to my commute home.

This at least motivated me to get my camera set up again, wish I had it today.

I was stuck behind a guy like that a few weeks ago. He slapped a mirror forward on a car that didn't move over for him.

When I got up to that car I flipped it back into place, looked at the driver and shrugged. The driver nodded as if to agree that some people are just assholes.

I've seen this guy on 24 a few times last year and this year. Hopefully it's the same guy because we don't need any more of these.

He easily smacks more than 40 mirrors over that stretch, not to mention the flailing and gesturing. I keep my distance and luckily no cars have retaliated towards me.

When traffic clears, roll up on him and slap his mirror and see how he likes it!

I've seen this guy! I commute on 24 also. Last spring he was doing that shit in the afternoon towards walnut creek. Just when I finally could catch up to him, he gets off at the Ygnacio exit. I was yelling at him big time but too much traffic blocked me off. Couldn't get his license plate either

Seriously, people who do this should have their motorcycles crushed. News flash dickhead, you're incompetent and prob shouldn't ride one.

Can we call the cops and report people like this? Generally, I follow "snitches get stitches" but this dude is just a big baby and going to get us in the "this is why we can't have nice things" category.

If I remember right this has happened before and the CHP finally caught that rider after enough complaints

I was really hoping this was an isolated incident...

lol yep. I remember seeing this dude when I used to take 24, he's a tool. I hated being behind him in case someone took their anger out on the next rider (me).

I swear, seeing him rev bomb everyone and slap at mirrors when he's got enough room to drive a semi between the lanes was infuriating. It's one of those rare times you wish you could go full Budman Roadrash and kick someone over.
