it is time to start saving lives by removing eico nuts from the world.

today i bought some lumber, crap wood! nothing found was not bent. and the cost. sales tax, then a "fee" for disposal of.... wood????
there will be a lot of this wood that will not be usable for my needs. (bent-bowed) but I can use it for "other projects.
very little if any goes to the garbage can. in years past it made heat for me in the cold of winter. no fire box now, i get piped in nat gas :cool
but give me a break. wood decomposes on its own, even when you still need it.

only wood that makes it to my trash is dust swept up off the floor. and then if a lot of it is saw dust. it goes into the flowerbed to be food for the plants.

Tell the manufacturers to stop treating lumber with chemicals that get it classified as hazardous waste.

I'm pretty sure they don't charge wood disposal fees in Mexico. :p

Inworked at a little lumber yard for a stretch in college, so I could pretend in wasn't a priveleged white kid... but i digress

One of the other guys would save all the large wood that got scrapped, ply, 2x 4x whatevee, and take it with him on his family visits to mexico. I don't know whathe ddid with it, probably built a retirement house

fee is for lumber that get to the dump.

and no fee is needed to grow trees. they do great if people stay away from them and just let them do there thing.
if fact it would cost us less taxes if the seed bank would be closed down and the seeds scattered in the hills.

what are you, a fucking tree hugger? :twofinger
My dad worked for Crown Zellerbach, 50000+ employee pulp and paper company. His job was manager of environmental affairs. He dealt with the EPA and local authorities when the company got caught. As a kid I was banned from burning any type of manufactured wood product because the treatments were really toxic.
