Lost my dog on XMAS - Hayward / SLZ Area

Hey everyone from BARF, I know this is probably a shot in the dark but I've posted everywhere and handed out flyers, put it on craigslist, called any shelters I could.

His name is Tyrion, he is a large black & white akita. Black up top, and has a white arrow on his back and white feet with black spots. He looks like a husky or a malamute and people get him confused all the time. He got out at about 8ish on Christmas Eve, I spent until 4AM looking for him and looked again for a few hours yesterday while I put up posters.

I lost him in the Hayward area, A ST & Santa Clara specifically. He is skidish and very timid, he will not approach a person and will run the other direction.

If you are outside in Hayward or San Lorenzo/Leandro today could you please keep an eye out? We would appreciate it. He is like our child and the thought of him being lost is wrenching on our heartstrings. Thanks everyone. Please PM ME for my number, I will check back regularly.

Are you on nextdoor.com? If not, i would sign up and see if any of your neighbors might of seem him around your neighborhood. I always see missing/rescue dogs on nextdoor for my neighborhood and the community is very good about connecting the lost pets with their owners. You can also check local animal shelters to see if someone might of dropped them off there.

Anyway, sorry to hear and hope you find your boy.

Edit: any updates? I could also post this on nextdoor for the San Leandro area.
