I wrote it down but I thought maybe the owner would get a chance to deal with it if I posted it up here for a day.
In my experience the Berkeley PD won't get out of bed for this, but I will report it as illegally parked later today. Parking usually takes care of abandoned vehicles promptly. I don't know why people dump vehicles in Berkeley but it happens a lot.

^ There's been two instances of what I'm pretty sure were stolen vehicles abandoned on my block in Albany over the last 12 months or so. I called Albany PD to report one of them after it had sat there for about 5 days (having confirmed with the neighbors that it wasn't a vehicle they knew) and they came out within the hour. Not sure what ultimately happened to it, but they seemed to be somewhat interested.
