Nude With Boots
Hey all,
I accepted a job in Mountain View as a middle school teacher last week, so I'll be moving from Santa Cruz some time between late July and September (hopefully.)
I'm open to moving into a mellow situation, or finding another person to look for an apartment with. I can afford about $1500 in rent, but would prefer to pay less if possible (I'm still not sure how my monthly finances will look until I get my first paycheck.) I'm hoping to move somewhere between Redwood City and Sunnyvale. Trying not to live with more than 1-2 roommates.
You are:
Not a clean freak, but not a slob.
Thoughtful and considerate, while still upfront and able to express needs.
Open minded (liberal or conservative, don't really care)
Cool with the occasional overnight guest.
Down to wrench on bikes on the weekends!
You aren't:
Planning on having people over every day (I like a quiet, mellow home.)
A big drinker (of alcohol, I just think drunk people are fuckin' annoying)
Prone to eating your roommate's food or leaving dishes in the sink.
Passive aggressive (you'll hate me if you are.)
Easily offended
A little about me:
I worked for Trader Joes for ten years and my personality definitely shows. I'm a pretty mellow guy at home, and tend to enjoy my quiet time. I also love playing video games with my brother who lives down south, so it's possible I may sound like I talk to myself in my room. I don't have people over much, but I am single and may have a date over for dinner now and then. I don't smoke or drink (by choice, no addiction issues), and I'm not into the party lifestyle. I'm perfectly comfortable spending a weekend chilling at home, but usually jump on my motorcycles for some mental therapy on weekends. I'm really looking for a place that is friendly and not passive aggressive. I'm a sarcastic guy and would love to live with someone that can enjoy my sense of humor. I respect people of all backgrounds. On top of that, I can handle being told if I've messed up directly and hope to live with people who get that.
Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
