Looking for local motorcycle towing companies

Hi. I have a bike I need to tow from Berkeley to San Francisco for repairs. It's not registered or insured, so I can't use my insurance for that. Can you please recommend a local motorcycle tow company that would do it.

I know of CC rider tow, will probably call them first, but I like to have a backup plan.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but the shop is on Valencia, so double-parking there, unloading the bike, looking for a parking for a car with a trailer is something I'm trying to avoid.

I've added this guy to my phone contacts as Cycle Tow, but then forgot if that's the actual company name or just what I called it in my contacts so I wouldn't forget what they do ... have used him a few times and he's great.

Have you ever tried renting a pickup truck? The price sounds good at $19.95, until you add up a dollar per mile, then it's super expensive if you have to go anywhere. I've rented pickups a couple of times to haul junk to the dump and it wasn't all that cheap even when not leaving the city limits.

Yeah JL Towing!!! They’ve got rig with rails and chocks for bikes! Very fast loading and unloading without having to worry about balancing and strapping bike down like generic flatbeds.
