Looking for hospitality on a foothills ride?

Jungle Toy

Ummm...whu?
I stopped in a new watering hole this weekend: Jokers Roadhouse 7 miles uphill from Georgetown (between G-town and Uncle Tom's). I was greeted with some wonderful hospitality, a great tri tip sandwich, some laughs, and even a beer on the house. The establishment has changed hands. The new owner, Jim & family, would like to make a place friendly to sport bike riders as well as cruisers. Jim is an ex-flat track racer; he and a few of the local patrons and old timers will entertain you with race time war stories and tales of “bumping bars” (I told them they shouldn't really say that to guys from SF!). Issues of Sport Rider and other magazines sit out on the bar, pictures of old salts riding flat track in Evil Kenivel leathers are on the wall. Good times.

Stop in and tell Jim that Nina sent you.
