LONG SHOT: D6 Private Property?

I am currently looking for a place to hunt in D6 zone this upcoming deer season. It would be a party of (3) responsible males hunting together. The three of us (all related) are 33 years old and very clean. We would make sure to leave the area better than when we arrived as well as follow all guidelines and rules. We all have common sense and are very conscious of hunter safety and responsibility. We also care about the preservation of wildlife for future generations and would never think of taking game inhumanely or doing anything stupid to jeopardize our hunting privileges. Also, we will be shooting non-lead ammo as required in new regulations. We are looking to take deer and bear.

We are willing to pay a fee if necessary to hunt your property or a friends property. We are also willing to work it... Of course, we would request written permission as required from the CDFW. If you are interested, or know anyone that may be interested, please contact me. I would love to build a lasting friendship for years to come. Thank you! Happy Hunting!

This will be my third year hunting D6. Don't be fooled by the "premium draw." It's still a <10% success rate zone.

The main road to my spot where I put a friend on a nice 3x3 last year (and never saw anything for myself :mad) is closed at least until next year. I'm thinking I should get my legs and lungs and back in shape over the next few months and just commit to doing it the old fashioned way. Hike into a Wilderness zone where no trucks are allowed and basically get away from 90% of the other hunters after the first mile away from the road.

The other benefit of that approach is the sense of ownership. It's our land, no permission slip or arbitrary rules to worry about.

Also, lead should be fine in D6 until 2019.

If we don't get private property... we are going to take one day to hike and get away from everyone for sure! However, there is still snow in the mountains, so I believe they will be a little lower this season.

CABilly... always room for responsible hunters.
