So how does this thing work?
It's Google TV.
You plug your satellite or cable receiver into it, then to your HDMI port on your TV. It connects to your network either with WiFi or Ethernet cable. Originally you was supposed to be able to use it without a receiver and could stream a shitload of channels for free, but all the networks bailed on Google. But you can do Hulu, Netflix, and all that jazz. You can hit a button on the wireless keyboard that also has a touchpad, then have a a full browser on your TV which includes flash. Your TV is open in a window.
You can search for shows or actors and it will pull up the info from the net plus find the shows on your receivers and either tune them in or schedule them automatically on your DVR. It will also control your receivers. You can plug USB drives directly into the unit that has your movies, or it can stream them from your PC.
It runs Android 2.2, but later this month it will run Android 3.1 to fx all the issues it had and you can install a bunch of Apps on it. It also works as a Harmony Universal remote.
It was selling for $300, but since it really wasn't worth that kind of money, they just lowered the price to $99.
Here's the website that has all the details.
