Local shop for electrical supplies?

Anyone know of a shop similar to Cycle Terminal or Eastern Beaver in the Bay Area?

I want to wire my farkles correctly and prefer to be able to go in and check stuff out in person (and have a place to run to when I screw up my last terminal, etc...)

I ran down to San Mateo Electronics but they're not really an autoparts store and didn't have the terminal selection I was looking for.

I'd love to learn of a local shop I could use in a pinch. I've used eastern beaver before and the service is great but shipping takes quite a while, or costs a lot to express from Japan.

Ebay has been more reliable for me recently but would be nice to have at least one local brick and mortar that carried weatherproof/automotive fittings.

West Marine carries a pretty good assortment of quality terminals, and a few connectors

The issue often with local shops is range of inventory when trying to stick close to OEM or have a specialty need.

You might want to check out Joe at cycleterminal.com . He has most the quality items that Jim has at Eastern beaver, but ships from NJ, and has been able to order some specialty items for some car restoration projects.

Electronics Plus in San Rafael.

I second that. If you want to farkle (I hate that word) correctly then that's the place. They've got everything necessary for a professional job: Molex connector tools, Deutsch, Weather-Pack you name it they've got it.

Perfect, thanks! Agreed re: "farkles".

+10000 on CycleTerminal, good prices and big selection. Also have used corsa-technic.com and they usually have the dimensions of the connectors and terminals so you can check against what you are looking for.
