Like you, I'm just sick of hearing another buddies trailer or bike got stolen. Thieves are scumbag maggots! I've had racing friends lose highly valuable collectable bikes that were stolen along with their trailer and truck!

Well, we decided to help do something about it, and we formed a partnership with GlobalStar / Spot Trace to help install and give MotorSports enthusiasts access to SpotTrace Faster and easier here in the Bay Area. The GPS/Geolocation technology also links up to Google maps to show you were your Trailer/Motorcycle or Rolling Asset is at all times. I've installed units in my bikes and in my trailers. I can access the location info via Spot APP on my Phone, or anything with a browser. I pity the fool who steals my trailer, I will hunt them down faster than a rabid dog on meth. With GPS Coordinates, I can give those to Local Law Enforcement in near real time so they can get to the scumbags before I do, and probably save them from a very very bad day! (although they will deserve it, but I'll get my stuff back)

I picked up a unit from Papi for my race trailer. Hope I never actually have to use it. Had a bike stolen from my driveway before and always hearing about missing trailers in my area. Gives me a good piece of mind knowing if something does happen I can find it quickly. It alerts my phone whenever the trailer is moved. Pushed it 4ft in my driveway once and got a notification :cool Punched up the app and it shows me exactly where it is at all times. Papi also did a good job helping me pick a location to mount the tracker and got me set up on my phone:thumbup

but sad / great for me i live out in the country, in the hills so anything involving "cell" service is a fail for me.
but at least theft is very low up here.

Um, you aren't visible from Space? Wow.
(This has nothing to do with Cell Service. GPS Uses a synchronized satellite system. Same as secret spy shit yo.)

I've had a number of messages and emails about the units battery life and also constant powered.

The constant powered adapter kit is about $20 and has a 3m (9') cable that's IP67 waterproof rated. We have those in stock as well.

However, I've been very pleased with the battery life in my units so far. They use a standard L92 Lithium (Energizer Ultimate AAA) and because of the low power mode the unit enters into when sleeping ( no movement detected ) I've already had 6 months of Service with no issue whatsoever. But, like everything else if the unit is talking to the Satellite more frequently it could reduce battery life.
