Lap Time @ Diablo MX

What's a reasonable lap time for a Beginner/Vet around Diablo?

Trying to get a benchmark of how far off the pace I am just for general knowledge. Currently I lap around 2:55 so I'm guessing that's easily a 2:30 for with Pro's/Intermediates running closer to de 2:00 mark.

Ways to go but only way I can improve is by having a benchmark.

Lap times at MX tracks are not a great benchmark. In fact, not asking about lap times could be your first benchmark.

Just work on improving. Try to jump all the jumps safely. Try to be the fastest guy in the slow group. Then try not to be the slowest guy in the fast group. A good lap time at Diablo is the time where you go faster than the majority of riders there.

The track is different day by day, hour by hour so lap times can vary by 5 seconds or more just depending on conditions. I just watched a Youtube video and looked at the video time. It looks like a 2:25 would be something to shoot for if the conditions were good.
