watched a video clip of Michael Biehn, johnny ringo, about his gun spinning and apparently the gun was set up for trick stuff. shaved corners, balanced blah blah blah. he couldn't do the entire routine as the movie showed but once in a handful of attempts despite tons of practice

meanwhile, val kilmer is on set walking around with that tin cup practicing all day long.
